The nice thing about doing these track meets with Tim is that you can run a bunch of races without getting really tired… you don’t get in a lot of distance… but if it’s quantity yer after, this is the way to do it (plus the races are FREE!).
Today I got in 5 races – pretty much every available race, with varying results.
200m – 34.2 seconds (PR)
400m – 78.7 seconds
800m – 2:54.2 (PR)
1500m – 5:45
3000m – 15:01
I think it’s pretty clear that by the 3K, I was pretty tired. They also do a 5K (12-1/2 laps around the track), but it is staged simultaneously with the 3K, so you can’t do both.
