Emmett Rahl is a 6’6″ Technical Writer and Runner (not just Ultramarathons) living in Southern California. He has been published in Marathon & Beyond Magazine with an article about his experiences at Way Too Cool and also an Acrostic puzzle about running. He is also the winner of the Kathaumixw Under-16 Vocal Soloist competition (1984), sang at the 1985 Superbowl, the 1985 Newport Music Festival, Expo ’86, performed with Oakland Opera, and a number of Early Music groups in California. In his spare time, he likes Sudoku puzzles, crossword puzzles, reading, cooking, baking bread, and needlepointing. He is also a member of Mensa.
