Kurt and I decided to do the Dino Dash once more (but skip the Hash afterwards, since it wasn’t very close). It was a little overcast, so we thought maybe we would have a better opportunity to place in our age groups.
We ran into Gavin McKiernan there. He is a few years younger than me, a little hefty, but keeps getting faster. Time was, I could easily beat him in a race… today, I see him at the turn-arounds and he is pretty close to me. I did finish ahead of him and ran a nearly identical time to last week’s 10K, with 45:43 (and an identical 13th place in my age group finish).
